Sap India Private Limited in Bengaluru seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist- Technical Expert to lead high-impact SAP technology projects. The role requires extensive SAP hands-on experience, strong Linux knowledge, and excellent English communication. Hybrid work with global collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering or IT.
• 10+ years of IT experience centered on SAP technology (BASIS).
• 8+ years in a technical SAP role with SAP HANA/Sybase.
• Strong Linux background and knowledge of AI tools is a plus.
• Experience managing customer projects and escalations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical preparation for complex critical activities for customers and plan maintenance.
• Safeguard service requests proactively for EOS customers.
• Understand customer business goals to offer innovative solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for EOS planning and preparations.

What you’ll do:

• EOS Technical Expert (ETE) is responsible for technical preparation for complex critical activities for the customers, works very closely with the SDS in terms of planning of customer specific maintenance plan.
• ETE is responsible for proactive safeguarding of service requests for EOS customers.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business, goals, and challenges to offer innovative solutions and recommendations.
• Serve as a technical point for all the technical planning and preparations for the EOS customer landscape.
• ETE acts as the primary contact with the EOS Service Delivery specialists for the services using DMM and CSMP.
• Solid hands-on experience with SAP technologies like SAP NetWeaver, Web Dispatcher, BusinessObjects solutions, Convergent Charging, Convergent Mediation, OpenText etc.
• Sound knowledge of Hyperscalers, networks, and virtual technologies, including load balancers and virtual machines.
• Solid expertise and hands-on experience in SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification preferred).
• Proven ability to manage operational tasks, handle customer escalations, and drive process improvements.
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and consistently add value to customers and the organization.
• Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-cultural teams, both international and virtual, to achieve seamless project delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Development and support for roadmap, feature and bug fixes.
• Proficient in analytical and solution-oriented thinking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Global team working in 24*7 model with following the sun approach.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
• 10+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a primary focus on SAP technology (BASIS).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in a technical role, with a demonstrated ability to manage a variety of SAP products running on SAP HANA/Sybase.
• Advanced technical background in Linux-based server operating systems Experience with AI tools would be an added advantage.
• Project management skills to efficiently handle customer projects and resolve issues would be a desirable skill.
