Job summary

SAP is seeking a senior professional based in Bengaluru to lead landscape provisioning, upgrades, and migrations within the ECS framework. You will partner with RISE and ECS teams, manage migrations, and guide customers through onboarding and release cycles, while coordinating with global stakeholders and cross-cultural teams.

The role requires a strong IT backend background, 5+ years in project management, SAP Basis expertise, and hands-on experience with hyperscalers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years in landscape provisioning, installation, migration and release upgrades.
• 5+ years of experience with SAP Basis (Migration projects).
• 5+ years of experience with Project Management.
• ≥3 years in customer-facing roles and adept at de-escalation in critical situations.
• Strong IT backend technology experience.
• Experience with cross-cultural teams.
• Business-level English.
• ≥3 years of experience with at least one hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

What You’ll Build

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within ECS and beyond to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction; includes direct customer interaction and operational coordination with partners/system integrators during onboarding and upgrade projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout onboarding, release upgrade, and migration phases.
• Demonstrate strong stakeholder-management skills across both internal and external parties.
• Lead and manage projects autonomously, consistently ensuring on-time, high-quality outcomes through strong project-management expertise.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills across all levels of engagement.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or related fields
• Ten or more years of experience in managing/ running landscape provisioning, installation, migration and release upgrades.
• 5 + years of experience with SAP Basis. Executed and managed Migration projects
• 5 ＋ Years of experience with Project Management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customer facing role and should have excellent command on de-escalating the critical situations. Experience with Datacenter migration.
• Profound IT backend technology experience.
• Experience in working with cross-cultural teams or individuals.
• Language: English Business level
• 3 + years of experience at least one of the Hyperscalers i.e. Azure, AWS or GCP
