Job summary

Vendavo is expanding its Customer Operations, seeking a Senior Technical Consultant in Hyderabad, India. You will drive the full software implementation lifecycle—development, configuration, testing, data extraction/load, and ongoing support—to ensure system reliability and performance.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients, analyze complex data, optimize SQL, and contribute to interface design and deployment strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development and enterprise software implementations using Java/J2EE and Oracle.
• Ability to work independently or in a team and meet project deliverables on time.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across UI, API, and database layers.
• Good understanding of High-Tech/Semiconductor industry concepts, such as product hierarchies, pricing, channel data, revenue process etc.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and customer-facing skills.
• Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Cloud, Jira or Zendesk) and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyse incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes or workarounds.
• Collaborate with functional SMEs and infrastructure teams to ensure issue resolution.
• Develop, debug, and deploy minor code changes and configuration updates.
• Configure application and interfaces according to client specifications.
• Perform unit testing and assist with integration and user acceptance testing.
• Contribute to interface design, development, and testing.
• Extract, monitor, and load data to support business activities and downstream needs.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Support release deployments, environment validations, and production cutovers.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configurations, and SOPs.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Willing to work in rotational shifts and weekends.

We’re a growing team, and as we scale, so does our need to focus on expanding our Customer Operations team. You’ll be joining a people-focused company, and as a Senior Technical Consultant you will play a key role in supporting the full software implementation lifecycle, including software development, system configuration, customization, interface configuration, unit testing, data extraction, data monitoring, and data loading. The Technical Consultant will also provide ongoing operational and technical support to ensure system reliability and performance.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

THE SKILL SET

• Prefer a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+years of experiencein software development & delivery of enterprise software implementations using Java/J2EE technologies and Oracle.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment and effectively meet project deliverables on time
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills across all application tiers — UI, API, and database
• Good understanding of High-Tech/Semiconductor industry concepts, such as product hierarchies, pricing, channel data, revenue process etc.. data flows
