Qualifications

• 7-10 years of US Healthcare RCM/DME Billing experience.
• 2+ years as Team Lead handling teams of 25+ FTEs.
• Strong DME billing workflows and payer guidelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with process improvement and automation opportunities.
• Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day DME billing operations to ensure productivity and quality.
• Manage a team of 25-30 billing professionals and coordinate scheduling.
• Monitor billing, claims processing, payment posting, AR follow-up, and denials.
• Ensure SLA targets and drive revenue realization through effective claims management.
• Review operational reports and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Conduct regular team huddles, reviews, and coaching to raise productivity and quality.
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning interventions; support automation.
• Collaborate with Quality, Training, HR, and Reporting teams for objectives.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Team Lead - DME Billing to lead a team of billing and revenue cycle professionals supporting US Healthcare clients. The role will be responsible for managing day-to-day DME billing operations, ensuring productivity, quality, compliance, and revenue optimization while driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in DME Billing, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, Commercial Insurance billing, AR Management, Denials Management, and Team Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage and supervise a team of 25-30 billing professionals.
• Monitor daily billing, claims processing, payment posting, AR follow-up, and denial management activities.
• Ensure achievement of productivity, quality, and SLA targets.
• Drive revenue realization through effective claims management and AR recovery.
• Review operational reports and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Conduct regular team huddles and performance reviews.
• Coach and mentor team members to improve productivity and quality.
• Identify training needs and coordinate learning interventions.
• Manage attendance, scheduling, workforce allocation, and leave planning.
• Build a high-performance and engagement-focused team culture.

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and payer-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits to monitor billing accuracy.
• Minimize billing errors, rejections, and denials.
• Support process improvement and standardization initiatives.

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Support leadership with client reporting and operational reviews.
• Provide updates on KPI performance, risks, and action plans.
• Collaborate with Quality, Training, HR, and Reporting teams for business objectives.
• Identify process gaps and recommend automation opportunities.
• Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency.
• Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives where applicable.

Educational Qualification

• Graduate in any discipline
• Relevant certifications in Healthcare RCM will be an added advantage

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-10 years of experience in US Healthcare RCM/DME Billing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Team Lead or Subject Matter Expert handling teams.
• Strong understanding of DME billing workflows and payer guidelines.
• Experience handling teams of 25+ FTEs.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment.
