Job summary

Alyssum Global Services in India is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to manage the performance, security and reliability of its IT infrastructure. The role is hands-on across network, cloud services, productivity platforms, backup and disaster recovery.

You will design and deploy firewalls, manage AWS/GCP, oversee Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, and mentor junior IT staff while coordinating vendor rollouts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in systems administration, including senior-level responsibilities.
• Hands-on experience configuring and managing firewalls and switches.
• Experience with AWS and GCP.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Strong backup and disaster recovery knowledge.
• Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server and Linux.
• Scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Fluent English with strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage firewalls, switches, routers and virtual servers.
• Administer and optimize AWS and GCP cloud environments for performance, security and cost.
• Manage Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, including access controls, security policies and governance.
• Design, test and maintain backup and disaster recovery strategies.
