Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to act as a subject matter expert in SAP basis administration and related SAP systems. The role calls for 6+ years in IT, 3+ years of relational DB design and 2+ years of SAP HANA maintenance, with 5+ years in SAP Basis core support and upgrades.

You will install, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot SAP systems, manage transports, patches, and version upgrades, and collaborate with IT Operations to ensure

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.
• 3+ years of relational database design, maintenance, performance tuning, upgrading and administering.
• 2+ years of SAP HANA database maintenance, performance tuning, upgrading and administering.
• 5+ years supporting SAP systems in Windows environments.
• 5+ years SAP Basis core support including transport management, patching, enhancement packages and version upgrades.
• Experience implementing and migrating large-scale SAP enterprise applications and databases to new platforms and versions.
• Ability in project planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Install, manage, monitor, tune & troubleshoot SAP systems and databases in accordance with defined SLAs.
• Manage & monitor operating systems on all SAP Systems.
• Provide SAP basis support to other SAP Teams.
• Work with IT Operations team members to design and implement controls for new technologies, systems & their supporting infrastructure to ensure systems are available and recoverable in accordance with our service level agreements.
• Availability to work selected weekends to perform off-hours maintenance to ensure our systems are available and secure.
• Availability to participate in a rotating on-call program for after-hours emergency support.
