Job summary

NEXTracker is seeking a Sr. Supply Chain Automation Developer to build and deploy automations, apps, and analytics that drive immediate business value.

You’ll work in fast-paced sprints to deliver prototypes and iterate on solutions that streamline operations, reduce waste, and scale decision-making. You’ll design low-code/no-code applications on the Microsoft Power Platform, prototype with Python and SQL, and transform data to enable smart automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Eng or equivalent.
• 15+ years experience building digital solutions in supply chain or related fields.
• Proficient with Microsoft Power Platform, RPA, Python/SQL, and AI in automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build low-code/no-code apps and workflows on Power Platform.
• Prototype solutions quickly to address operational bottlenecks using Python/SQL.
• Transform and integrate supply chain data for smart automation.
• Emphasize UI/UX to drive user adoption and usability.

What You’ll Do:

As a Sr. Supply Chain Automation Developer, you’ll build and deploy automations, apps, and analytics that drive immediate business value. You’ll work in fast-paced sprints to deliver prototypes and iterate on solutions that streamline operations, reduce waste, and scale decision-making. You’ll sit at the intersection of process and tech, solving pain points through elegant, user-centric solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build low-code/no-code applications and workflows using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
• Rapidly prototype solutions to address operational bottlenecks using Python, SQL, and AI tools where applicable
• Model, transform, and integrate supply chain data to enable smart automation and decision support
• Focus deeply on UI/UX to ensure adoption and usability of solutions
• Collaborate closely with process engineers and SMEs to understand business context and iterate solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• 15+ years experience building digital solutions in supply chain, operations, IT, or consulting environments
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform, RPA tools, forms development, and Python/SQL
• Experience applying AI in process automation (e.g. GPT prompts, document parsing, chatbots, etc.)
• Strong UI/UX sensibilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
