Job summary

AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Statistical Programmer II to join the Oncology Biometrics Programming team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis. You will provide statistical programming support and lead activities for analysis and reporting at the project level, contributing to regulatory submissions and study reports.

The role requires strong SAS programming expertise, solid regulatory knowledge, and ability to work across global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Life or Social Sciences or related field.
• At least 3 years of industry experience with Master’s or 5+ years with Bachelor’s
• Ability to pay attention to detail and lead/work on concurrent studies and activities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence team members
• Extensive SAS programming expertise to an advanced level within clinical drug development
• Ability to work independently on the assigned programming tasks
• Comprehensive knowledge of technical and regulatory requirements
• Good knowledge of CDISC standards and industry best practices
• Experience leading studies or activities in clinical trials
• Lead experience, Stakeholder management – Oncology TA and Submission experience preferred
