Job summary

Kaseya is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our India team in Pune. You will build scalable backend services using .NET, C#, and Microsoft Azure, focusing on API design, performance, security, and cloud integration.

You will collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high‑quality solutions, optimize SQL Server databases, and uphold engineering best practices through code reviews, logging, and documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years working with the .NET ecosystem.
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core/.NET 5+, and SQL Server, including database design and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, with a solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, branching strategies, automated testing, and deployment workflows, along with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

Kaseya is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our engineering team and build scalable, reliable backend services for our applications. This role will focus on developing backend solutions using .NET and Microsoft Azure, with an emphasis on API design, performance, security, and cloud integration.

The Senior Backend Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain backend services while contributing to architectural decisions, database optimization, and engineering best practices. Working closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams, this individual will help deliver high-quality solutions, improve system reliability, and support the evolution of our cloud-based applications.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
