Responsabilités

• Drive design, development, and delivery of advanced fintech solutions; translate business needs into technical designs and oversee implementation.
• Lead definition and enforcement of coding standards, testing protocols, and automation strategies across teams; resolve defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Lead and oversee scalable, secure software architectures; ensure alignment with strategic goals and oversee full development lifecycle.
• Drive initiatives to enhance system performance using cutting-edge technologies; conduct thorough code reviews and provide on-call support as needed.

• Act as trusted advisor across engineering, product, and business functions; mentor engineers and advocate for Agile practices.

Job Summary

The Senior Staff Software Engineer (MarTech) - Provides strategic technology leadership across enterprise architecture, digital transformation, customer experience platforms, data ecosystems, and Experience Cloud solutions, with a strong focus on Adobe technologies. Partners with business and technology leaders to define architecture strategy, shape technology roadmaps, and deliver scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions. Serves as a trusted advisor, driving modernization initiatives, influencing enterprise technology decisions, and aligning business objectives, engineering execution, and technology investments. The Senior Staff Software Engineer provides strategic leadership focused on driving the architecture, design, and delivery of advanced financial technology systems. This position requires deep technical mastery, mentorship of engineers and collaboration across senior leadership. Engineers in this role lead innovation, optimize processes, and ensure solutions align with business objectives and enterprise standards and architect and lead full stack development across the SDLC, enhancing frontend, backend, and UI/UX components

Essential Job Functions

• Drive the design, development, and delivery of advanced financial technology solutions. Translate complex business needs into technical designs and oversee their implementation. Lead architectural decisions to ensure scalability, security, and performance. Take ownership of the most critical systems and resolve high-impact issues efficiently. - (15%)
• Lead the definition and enforcement of coding standards, testing protocols, and automation strategies across teams. Analyze and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks, and systemic inefficiencies. Continuously improve processes to align with enterprise goals, focusing on quality, scalability, and time-to-market. - (15%)
• Lead and oversee the design of scalable and secure software architectures. Ensure alignment with strategic goals and oversee the full development lifecycle. Provide expert guidance and technical direction to the team. - (15%)
• Drive initiatives to enhance system performance using cutting-edge technologies. Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce best practices to ensure robust, scalable solutions. Provide technical on-call support and respond to incident inquiries as needed. - (15%)
• Strategize and implement advanced UI/UX enhancements. Collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. Utilize user feedback for continuous improvement and alignment with business needs. - (15%)
• Act as a trusted technical advisor across engineering, product, and business functions. Build relationships with senior stakeholders to align priorities and strategies. Mentor and guide engineers at all levels, promoting a culture of innovation and collaboration. Advocate for best practices in software engineering and Agile development while driving enterprise-wide initiatives. - (15%)
• Exhibit deep expertise in at least three programming languages. Lead the development and maintenance of multiple mission-critical applications. Serve as a subject matter expert in financial technology, payments systems, and cloud environments. Guide the adoption of emerging technologies and ensure alignment with Bread Financial's strategy. - (5%)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
• 1 cloud certification- AWS cloud practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or Google Cloud- Cloud Digital Leader
• 10-13 years of work experience in related field (Software Development Life Cycle across Full Stack, Frontend and Backend Development and UI / UX engineering).

Preferred Qualifications

• 13-15 years of work experience in related field (Software Development Life Cycle across Full Stack, Frontend and Backend Development and UI / UX engineering).
• Adobe Certified Master - AEM Architect
• Experience with Digital Experience Platforms (DXP), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), MarTech ecosystems, and personalization platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML, Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs) and intelligent automation solutions.
• TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, or equivalent certifications.
• Experience within financial services, fintech, payments, lending, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), Adobe Real-Time CDP, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
