Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a hands-on Senior Android Software Engineer with deep Android expertise and a security-first mindset to design, develop, and secure features for our mobile products. In this role you will own the architecture and end-to-end delivery of key Android features.

You will mentor teammates across global sites, implement MVVM/MVI/MVP patterns, and ensure performance, reliability, and scalable architecture while collaborating with product, UX, and backend teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience, with 3+ years on Android platform.
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java with strong OOP fundamentals.
• Experience with modern Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, MVP) and UI patterns (Material Design).
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Android testing frameworks (Espresso, JUnit) and Git/CI/CD workflows.

• Drive the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of core Android solutions with high performance and quality.
• Own end-to-end development lifecycle from prototyping to testing and delivery.
