Job summary

SentinelOne is seeking a Senior Staff Product Manager to lead strategy, requirements, pricing, and releases for our Detection capabilities. You will craft a holistic roadmap for detection infrastructure and multi-stage attack detection, reporting to the Head of Product Management, EDR, and collaborating with engineering and threat research teams globally.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in security products.
• Deep knowledge of real-world attack vectors and threat detection/response solutions (EDR, ITDR, SIEM, XDR, SOAR, UBA).
• Experience with one or more security products (EDR, ITDR, SIEM, XDR, IR tools).
• Ability to prioritize to meet business and customer objectives, and to create order from chaos.

Responsibilities

• Act as product leader and voice of the customer for the EDR Detection roadmap, backlog, and feature requests.
• Define and document product requirements for engineering, including PRFAQs and functional specs.
• Align dependencies and partner with engineering for roadmap delivery and execution.
• Develop industry solutions addressing security needs of large enterprises while maintaining leadership in evaluations (MITRE ATT&CK).
• Develop solutions across SentinelOne product lines, including EDR and Singularity EDR.
• Prioritize detection investments based on threat landscape and customer needs; communicate status to stakeholders.

As a Senior Staff Product Manager, you will be tasked with leading the strategy, requirements, pricing, and releases associated with SentinelOne's Detection capabilities. You will build a holistic roadmap covering detection infrastructure and methodologies to detect multi-stage cyber-attacks based on real-world threat prioritization. Reporting to the Head of Product Management, EDR, you will work closely with engineering and threat research groups across the company.

What Will You Do?

Primary responsibilities include:

• Act as the product leader and voice of the customer, defining and managing the EDR Detection roadmap, feature requests, and backlog.
• Define and document product requirements for engineering, including detailed PRFAQs, functional specs, and other product requirement documents that meet expectations of product efficiency, margin, and customer experience.
• Align dependencies and partner with engineering for roadmap delivery and execution, ensuring products are in line with the company's cybersecurity product strategy and key stakeholder expectations.
• Develop industry solutions that address the security needs of Fortune 500 companies while maintaining leadership status in third-party evaluations, including MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations.
• Develop solutions across all of SentinelOne's product lines, specifically Endpoint Detection and Response and Singularity EDR.
• Have expert working knowledge of the threat landscape to prioritize detection investments according to customer needs, and present credibly to customers, analysts, and the field.
• Provide timely decision-making and communication of status, changes, adjustments, and commitments to stakeholders across the organization.

What Skills and Knowledge Will You Bring?

Ideal candidates will have:

• 10 or more years of product management experience on progressively complex security products.
• Expert knowledge of the threat landscape, specifically of real-world attack vectors, and of threat detection and response solutions such as EDR, ITDR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, and UBA.
• Experience working on one or more of the following products: EDR, ITDR, SIEM, XDR, or IR tools.
• Ability to ruthlessly prioritize to meet business, company, and customer objectives, and to create order from chaos to execute stated goals.
• Comfort navigating ambiguity, making decisions off shifting data with authority and conviction, and pivoting based on feedback without hesitation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the capability to explain complex requirements simply to all levels of audiences.
• Experience working with large enterprises, understanding their needs and abilities in deploying new software.
• Excellent knowledge of the competitive product landscape and the ability to distinguish between hype and reality.
• Focus on innovation, with the ability to understand disruptive solutions where no precedence exists.
• Prior experience in software development and a good understanding of software engineering methodologies is preferred.
• Experience with SaaS or cloud-based security systems is preferred.
• Prior experience working with globally distributed teams is preferred.
