Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server development and database administration support.
• Strong expertise in T-SQL programming and database design.
• Advanced knowledge of relational database concepts, normalization, and data modelling.
• Developing complex Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, and Triggers from scratch.
• Writing highly optimized T-SQL code for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Expertise in temporary tables, table variables, CTEs, cursors, and windowing functions.
• Hands-on experience with ETL design, SSIS packages, and data integration from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in performance tuning, blocking, deadlocks, and query plan analysis.
• Backup/recovery, integrity checks, and high availability strategies.
• Strong problem solving, production support, and agile team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL Server objects including stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Design and optimize ETL workflows using SSIS across diverse data sources.
• Perform query optimization, indexing strategies, and partitioning for large databases.
• Implement backup, recovery, integrity checks, and disaster recovery plans.
• Provide production support, root cause analysis, and incident management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, perform requirement gathering, and participate in code reviews.
