Job summary

smartData is seeking a Database-focused .NET Developer with strong SQL Server skills to design, implement, and optimize databases and ETL processes. You will maintain T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models while ensuring data integrity and security across cloud databases.

You will collaborate on .NET application support using C#, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework, and develop Power BI dashboards to enable insights across data landscapes.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, and .NET (C#/.NET Core or .NET Framework).
• Experience with query optimization, performance tuning, execution plans, indexing, DBA backup, recovery, security, monitoring, and high availability.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS, ETL, data migration, data transformation, and cloud databases.
• Experience using ADO.NET, Entity Framework, Git, Azure DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude for development, debugging, analysis, and documentation where appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL processes using SSIS or similar tools.
