Job summary

Novartis India in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced data & analytics professional to drive adoption of Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, and Copilot across enterprise teams. • Provide user enablement through training, documentation, playbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Collaborate with vendors and teams to ensure ISC, security, privacy and regulatory compliance.

Drive adoption of Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, partnering with stakeholders, vendors, and platform teams to deliver trusted analytics solutions. Support business demand intake, prioritization, and end-to-end delivery to maximize business value from data and reporting initiatives.

About The Role

Major accountabilities

• Support the execution of the Enterprise Visualization Platform strategy by partnering with business stakeholders, platform leads, and delivery teams.
• Gather and analyze business requirements, support demand intake processes, and help prioritize requests aligned with business objectives and platform standards.
• Contribute to platform adoption by tracking usage metrics, preparing value realization reports, and supporting onboarding of new use cases.
• Support migration and decommissioning initiatives of legacy BI platforms (e.g., Qlik) by coordinating stakeholders, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth transitions to approved visualization platforms.
• Develop, maintain, and promote certified datasets, dashboards, templates, and reusable assets that enable governed self-service analytics. Execute governance and quality control activities to ensure adherence to platform standards, security requirements, data quality expectations, and architectural guidelines.
• Support user enablement through training sessions, documentation, office hours, playbooks, knowledge articles, and community engagement activities. Monitor platform adoption, utilization, operational health, and service performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with vendors, development teams, and business users to resolve issues, improve user experience, and accelerate value delivery. Ensure compliance with Information Security & Compliance (ISC), legal, ethical, privacy, and regulatory requirements, including GxP requirements where applicable.

Minimum Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Visualization platforms.
• 3+ years of experience working with enterprise analytics and visualization solutions in a global environment.
• Hands-on expertise in Power BI, Copilot and Microsoft Fabric, including report development, semantic models, data visualization, workspace management, performance optimization, and security concepts such as RLS.
• Good understanding of modern data platforms and integration patterns, including Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud-based analytics ecosystems.
• Experience supporting demand management, project delivery, platform operations, user adoption, and service reporting. Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, usage analytics, and value realization reports.
• Familiarity with governance, data quality, security, and compliance processes within enterprise analytics environments. Experience supporting training, community engagement, adoption programs, or Center of Excellence (CoE) initiatives.
• AWS exposure is desirable; relevant cloud, Power BI, Fabric, or analytics certifications are an advantage.
• Pharma or life sciences industry experience preferred; exposure to regulated environments (GxP) is an advantage.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
