Job summary

Randstad Enterprise in Hyderabad is seeking a procurement and supply chain analyst to support senior colleagues by analyzing spend, suppliers, and contracts, and to assist in strategy deployment.

You will handle purchasing activities, prepare reports, dashboards, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, cost savings, and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of procurement concepts and basic understanding of related disciplines.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the company, processes and customers.
• Performs a range of assignments related to the discipline.
• Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction; may mentor new team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide analysis to support procurement/supply chain strategy development and implementation.
• Perform standard purchasing activities: analyze requests, place orders, identify sources, and expedite requisitions.
• Interface with local contract owners, suppliers and stakeholders; support strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Analyze supplier proposals and generate detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses with insights and recommendations.
• Oversee basic contract-related tasks to ensure compliance with company policies and on-time delivery.
• Maintain procurement reports and dashboards, and ensure records are properly stored in systems.

• Provides analysis to support more senior colleagues with the development and implementation of the procurement / supply chain strategy, processes and plans. Performs spend analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Follows procedural guidelines to perform standard purchasing activities e.g., analyzing and evaluating purchasing requests, placing orders, identifying sources, administering terms, and expediting purchase orders from valid requisitions
• Acts as a business interface for local contract owners/suppliers and/or a range of business stakeholders, providing updates and escalating issues as appropriate. Supports strategic sourcing initiatives
• Analyses supplier proposals and creates detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Handles the most straightforward contractual agreements for specific items as needed in compliance with Company policies and procedures. Monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned service agreements and subcontracts to assure best quality and best value, and on-time delivery of projects.
• Maintains, monitors and generates reports on purchasing activities. Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards
• Ensures that requisitions, purchase orders, vendor bids, receipts, invoices, tracking sheets, bid tabs, etc. are all maintained in the established system(s)Grade Descriptor
• Requires working knowledge of own discipline and a basic understanding of concepts and procedures in related disciplines
