Job summary

BNY in Pune, India, is seeking a finance-tech professional to drive structured finance initiatives, analyze markets, and communicate with clients. You will support product development and lifecycle management, while partnering with risk, operations and tech teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's in computer engineering and 5–8 years of Python, SQL, and Power BI experience, plus strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured finance, securitization, ABS, MBS or capital markets.
• Experience with internal and external client relationships and multitasking.

• Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and tech-enabled tools.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Support the development and enhancement of structured finance products and solutions by contributing to product initiatives, market analyses, and client communication strategies.
• Serve as a key point of contact for clients and internal partners, addressing transaction-related inquiries and supporting day-to-day execution, servicing, and lifecycle management activities.
• Collaborate across business, risk, operations, and technology teams to drive process improvements, operational efficiency, and scalable solutions.
• Leverage technology, data analytics, and AI-driven tools for process improvement, reporting, and client service delivery.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in structured finance, securitization, asset-backed securities (ABS), mortgage-backed securities (MBS), capital markets, financial services, or product management.
• 5-8 years of experience in Python, SQL, Power BI or similar technologies is desired.
• Experience supporting internal and external clients, with a demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear and actionable insights.
• Proficiency in data analysis, financial modeling, and technology-enabled tools, with a proactive approach to process improvement and innovation.
