Job summary

BNY in Pune, India is seeking an FP&A professional to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will partner with business leaders to gather inputs and drive data-driven decisions.

The role focuses on building financial models, preparing reports, and delivering insights with accuracy and timely analyses. Collaboration across cross-functional teams, automation improvements, and governance will be key.

Job Description:

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecast, and multi-year planning processes.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
• Build, maintain, and enhance financial models used for forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic planning.
• Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and support decision-making.
• Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for leadership reviews and management meetings.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and help develop recommendations to improve performance.
• Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and strategic initiatives as needed.
• Contribute to improving financial planning, reporting, and governance processes through automation and standardization where possible.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of financial data, analysis, and reporting outputs.

To be successful in this role, we are seeking the following

• Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting and consolidation.
• Proficiency in Oracle or similar financial systems.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities for presenting financial insights.
• Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with expense management, forecasting, and planning.
• Proactive problem-solving and process improvement mindset.
