Job summary

APL Logistics is seeking an experienced Senior Database Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions for mission-critical applications. The role requires deep PL/SQL expertise, SQL tuning, and hands-on work with Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL databases.

The candidate will design complex database objects, optimize performance, and collaborate with developers to enable robust data models, ETL processes, and secure data management practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of PL/SQL development experience.
• Experience with message brokers (Kafka).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).
• Familiarity with cloud-based databases (Snowflake, Azure SQL).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of data warehousing and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).
