Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to drive adoption of cloud solutions with top software companies. You will own customer relationships, lead architectural discussions, and provide prescriptive guidance on AWS technologies.

You will build partnerships, author technical publications, and help customers accelerate their innovation journey on AWS. This is a strategic role focusing on data, analytics, and generative AI initiatives for ISV partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
• Experience working with end user or developer communities.

• Own the technical relationship with customers providing technical advocacy as they build and enhance their products on AWS.
• Participate in deep architectural and design discussions with customers to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
• Work with customers to understand their business needs and provide prescriptive guidance on how to leverage AWS technologies.
• Formulate and execute a strategy to drive adoption of AWS services within customer's platform.
• Author and contribute to technical publications such as whitepapers and proof of concepts that highlight AWS.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals at our customer to enable them to be cloud advocates.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
• Drive successful outcomes for both AWS and customers through technical enablement.
