Job summary

AWS India - Karnataka is seeking a Solutions Architect to accelerate customer outcomes with best-practice cloud architectures and deep technical engagement. You will drive solution discussions, own engagements, and partner with teams to push AWS services that fit long-term business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• 7+ years of experience in specific technology domains (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business needs.
• Drive technical solutions discussions with customers, diving deep into details to solve complex problems and craft scalable cloud architectures.
• Scope and own customer engagements with clear objectives and success criteria.
• Work backwards from the customer's business needs to accelerate adoption of AWS technology.
• Define and execute strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, TAMs, services consultants).
• Act as a thought leader, educating, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and workshops.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence AWS roadmap and platform evolution.
• Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team to ensure customer success.

Working closely with internal teams at AWS, you’ll identify how our customers push the boundaries and how we can improve our services to obsess over our customers.

Being a thought leader who creates and presents content you’ll help all of our customers scale and grow in non-linear ways, using AWS as their building blocks.

In this role, you will push technology boundaries and help scale some of the emerging companies across various Verticals in India. You will have the opportunity to partner with customers early in their cloud journey and help them scale as well as customers further in their cloud journey where you can have visible and measurable impact in their growth ambitions.

You will test traditional thinking by pushing the boundaries for your customers and AWS to dream and deliver beyond what they think is possible.

Key job responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to accelerate their business outcomes and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business needs.
• Drive technical solutions discussions with your customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical problems and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures.
• Scope and own customer engagements, with attention towards clear and well-defined objectives and success criteria.
• Work backwards from your customer's business needs to accelerate adoption of the most appropriate AWS technology
• Define and execute on the strategy by engaging highly technical teams (Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, AWS professional services consultants and consulting/managed services partners).
• Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.
• Share the voice of the customer to influence the roadmap of new features and services for the AWS platform. Proactively work within the organisation to influence the evolution of the platform.
• Serve as a key technical member of the Solutions Architecture team through influencing decision makers across multiple domains to ensure customer success in building applications and services on the AWS platform which align to long-term business goals.

The variety of customers is huge as we work across all industries within the SMB segment, like FSI, Retail , IT& ITeS , Media and Entertainment to name a few. On a daily basis you will work alongside people who are leading the way in designing cloud bases architecture. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
