Job summary

Zymr Systems in India is seeking a Senior Solution Architect to bridge business needs and engineering for scalable Azure-based platforms in the supply chain, logistics, and e-commerce domains.

You will drive event-driven integrations, enforce security and compliance, optimize performance and cost, and embed AI-assisted development practices across teams. Prior experience shaping cloud platforms and governance is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Azure solution architecture in enterprise contexts with APIM, Service Bus, Function Apps, Event Grid/Hub and containerization (AKS/ACA).
• Experience designing isolated cloud environments with RBAC/MFA, audit logging, and production data separation.
• Hands-on AI/LLM governance—prompt injection, data leakage, hallucination, secure output handling, and human-in-the-loop oversight.
• Azure Monitor and KQL, application insights, and production alert design; Docker, AKS, and/ or Azure Container Apps.
• Working knowledge of Azure Entra ID, OAuth2/OIDC and Conditional Access; experience with event-driven patterns (pub/sub, saga, CQRS, outbox).
• Supply chain and logistics domain expertise including ERP/E-commerce integration patterns (order management, catalogue, fulfilment).
• RAG/AI agent design including vector databases and evaluation criteria; experience with multiple AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Azure AI Foundry).
• Knowledge of secure platform uplift, AI governance, and multi-region topology.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design, ADRs, KDDs, sequence/data-flow diagrams, ICDs and workshops to align stakeholders on scope and trade-offs.
• Elicit and refine requirements; decompose designs into user-story-level specs with acceptance criteria and dependency mappings.
• Design controlled cloud environments for AI experiments: network isolation, RBAC, audit logs, cost governance, and gated production workflows.
• Lead platform uplift; assess current architecture, identify risk hotspots, and produce remediation roadmap.
• Define LLM-assisted guardrails and AI agent evaluation pathways with human-in-the-loop controls and production-readiness criteria.
• Architect and govern event-driven integrations on Service Bus, Event Grid/Hub; oversee APIM configurations including OAuth2, rate limiting, versioning, multi-region topology.
• Architect Function Apps, Logic Apps, and container workloads (AKS, Container Apps); perform AI risk assessments and data security reviews.
• Embed DevSecOps in Azure DevOps CI/CD; define observability strategies (Application Insights, KQL, SLIs/SLOs) and cost posture; champion AI tooling.

We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect with deep hands‑on expertise across enterprise Azure platforms and a strong background in supply chain, logistics, and e-commerce domains. You will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating complex business requirements into detailed, actionable architectures and implementation plans at user story level.

You will be central to shaping the evolution of our cloud platform, driving event‑driven integration patterns, enforcing security and compliance posture, optimising for performance and cost, and embedding AI‑assisted development practices across the team. You will also design controlled, governed environments for AI experimentation, lead secure platform uplift and modernisation, evaluate AI agents through compliant pathways, and baseline and uplift the enterprise integration landscape, all under strong AI governance, security and privacy guardrails.

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end solution design, ADRs, KDDs, sequence/data‑flow diagrams, ICDs and facilitate architectural workshops to align stakeholders on scope, approach, and trade‑offs.

• Define LLM‑assisted development guardrails and architect compliant AI agent evaluation pathways with human‑in‑the‑loop controls and measurable production‑readiness criteria (accuracy, hallucination, repeatability).
• Architect and govern event‑driven integrations on Service Bus, Event Grid, and Event Hub (pub/sub, saga, CQRS, outbox); oversee APIM configurations including OAuth2/Entra ID, rate limiting, versioning, and multi‑region topology.
• Architect Function Apps, Logic Apps, and container‑based workloads (AKS, Container Apps); lead AI‑specific risk assessments covering prompt injection, data leakage, excessive agency, and auditability.
• Embed DevSecOps in Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines; define observability strategies (Application Insights, KQL dashboards, SLIs/SLOs, DLQ handling); own cloud cost posture via FinOps principles; champion AI tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Azure AI Foundry).

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands‑on Azure solution architecture — APIM, Service Bus, Function Apps, Event Grid/Hub, and Logic Apps, and containerization using AKS / ACA — in an enterprise context.
• Experience designing isolated cloud environments with network isolation, tenant segregation, RBAC/MFA, audit logging, and Production data separation.
• Hands‑on AI/LLM governance — prompt injection, data leakage, hallucination, insecure output handling, and human‑in‑the‑loop oversight.
• Azure Monitor proficiency — Application Insights, KQL, workbooks, production alert design; containerisation experience with Docker, AKS, and/or Azure Container Apps.
• Working knowledge of Azure Entra ID (OAuth2, OIDC, Managed Identities, Conditional Access) and Azure networking (VNets, Private Endpoints, App Gateway, Front Door).
• Proven event‑driven architecture at scale (pub/sub, saga, CQRS, outbox); ability to produce artefacts from capability diagrams to user‑story breakdowns; ecommerce/ERP integration experience (order management, catalogue, fulfilment).
• RAG/AI agent solution design including vector databases and staged evaluation criteria; active use of multiple AI dev tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Azure AI Foundry); strong written and verbal communication for technical and business audiences.
• Supply chain and logistics domain expertise — EDI, integration patterns, master data flows, and distribution/wholesale operational constraints.

Nice to Have

• WMS integration (inbound/outbound flows, inventory sync, exception handling) and Shopify integration (storefront APIs, Webhooks, ERP/WMS connectivity).
• Sage ERP integration and decoupling strategies; Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&A in a supply chain or logistics context.
• Azure AI Foundry model deployment — Data Zone vs. Regional Standard deployment types and data residency considerations.
• MCP (Model Context Protocol) or AI agent orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, Pydantic AI, AutoGen, OpenAI Agents SDK); n8n or similar workflow automation platforms.
• Open Telemetry and distributed tracing; IDP or golden‑path template library ownership.
• Certifications: AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert), AZ-204, AZ-900, or equivalent.
