Job description

Job will be based at Bangalore, Whitefield office (WFO) for 5 days a week.

What Role You Will Play In Team

Globally provide support to the Procurement organization by assisting in deriving valuable business insights & proposing solutions for strategic business planning through visualization by developing and maintaining dashboards. Develop, maintain, and enhance analytical tools and visualizations using various systems like SQL Server, Snowflake, Tableau, and PowerBI.

What You Will Do
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and visualizations for the Procurement department capturing the key KPIs and metrics, using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
  • Identify problem statements and hypothesize data‑backed solutions, scaling from ambiguous problems to structured solutions using critical thinking, statistics, and data science concepts.
  • Develop logic and calculations for metrics, build customized insights to support procurement stakeholders on local, regional, and global levels.
  • Collaborate effectively with Engagement Leads, Procurement Commercial and Operation Teams, Data Engineering, and Procurement Management to understand requirements and deliver analytical needs.
  • Regularly engage stakeholders to provide status updates and address potential opportunities with the metrics or data sets, and troubleshoot issues related to data and dashboards as needed.
  • Prepare technical and functional documentation and train end‑users on new dashboards and reports.
  • Lead the execution of dashboard and insights‑related components within the annual value delivery plan and strategic initiatives, serving as liaison between stakeholders and the internal analytics team.
  • Manage data‑side system migrations and updates, ensuring timely incorporation of changes into analytics solutions.
  • Provide insightful data analysis to support senior stakeholders on local, regional, or global bases and communicate complex data analysis concisely.
  • Actively guide and mentor other team members in fulfilling their duties, coaching them on advanced data analysis or how to develop a clear opportunity set.
  • Proactively identify data‑related challenges, outline clear action plans, share progress with stakeholders, and highlight insights and opportunities within the data.
  • Maintain existing analytics deliverables while driving continuous improvements to boost adoption and impact through effective change management.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering with a minimum 6.0 CGPA and comprehensive knowledge, plus a minimum of 5 years practical experience in data analytics, including building dashboards and visualization tools – SQL, Power BI Desktop, Python, and modeling.
  • Experience with Snowflake database.
  • Applied knowledge and experience in statistical modeling and analysis techniques.
  • Intermediate level of Python programming and a flexibility to learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Strong knowledge in advanced data analytics or data science preferred (data modeling, statistical analysis, Tableau Desktop, and ability to apply machine learning algorithms to predict outcomes and trends).
  • Analytical mindset to work with massive amounts of data, utilizing storytelling techniques to present data and insights that drive decision‑making and inspire action.
  • Project management knowledge an added advantage, to effectively plan, coordinate, and deliver analytics solutions within defined timelines and expectations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to work in a diverse team environment.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
