Aptiv Bangalore (India) is seeking an experienced automotive functional test engineer for Radar-based embedded software. You will be a core tester, defining and automating Autosar-based test cases in multicore environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The role requires 6–9 years in automotive functional testing with strong debugging, test design, and CAN/LIN/Ethernet knowledge. You will work in an agile environment and contribute to continuous process improvement.
In particular you will be responsible for: Be a core part in functional test team for Radar product based Embedded SW Test development for safety products to be used in various global OEM vehicle. Define and/or optimize Autosar based SW Test Cases in multicore environment and automate the same. Collaborate with cross functional teams for day-to-day activities Debugging Skills & Issue Resolution with ownership Manage your time effectively against your targets Adhere to Company's Policies and Procedures, Emphasize and Support Continuous Process Improvement Work in an agile development environment Work in an agile development environment
From B.E. / B. Tech / M.E. / M. Tech in Electronics & Communication / Electrical /Instrumentation Background. Minimum experience of 6 to 9 years in Automotive Functional Testing
Experience in Software - Functional testing of Radar, Domain controller platform. Mandatory Programming skills: Python, CAPL Preferrable Programming Skills: C, C++ Hands on experience in Testing Autosar Code, BSW, Cyber security, Fault injections testing and good knowledge on CAN, LIN, Ethernet and Diagnostics Test case design, test case automation, test case execution against Software Requirements and Software Architecture for automotive products Ability to identify and perform regression tests, smoke tests, acceptance tests against the changes in Software Ability to execute Test reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions Work experience with Automated Test environment /Manual Test benches, Test environment setup and debugging Tools: TRACE32, Lauterbach debugger(or other), CANoe, Renesas Experience of working in Agile development environment is an added advantage Good team player, exhibits good written and communication skills. Excellent communication
Preferred Skill: ISTQB Certificates Knowledge on: Linux, Jenkins, Jira, Polarion, SharePoint, Confluence, GIT or similar
