Senior Software Quality Analyst

Location: Pune or Mumbai, India (Hybrid)

Position Summary

Bentley Systems is a leading global provider of software solutions for engineers, architects, geospatial professionals, constructors, and owner-operators involved in infrastructure design, construction, and operations. As a Software Quality Analyst, you will be responsible for both automated and manual testing of the OpenUtilities software.

Responsibilities

1. Own the entire test lifecycle for assigned features or areas.
2. Participate in test framework development and create/maintain test automation scripts.
3. Write and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on technical designs and user scenarios to ensure the product meets functional, usability, and performance standards.
4. Create bug reports, perform accurate reproduction and root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
5. Provide accurate estimates of testing efforts and timelines.
6. Maintain and update testing infrastructure.
7. Research and implement new testing best practices and ensure compliance with quality standards.
8. Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Developers, Project Managers, and peers in the testing organization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field from a reputable institute, with at least 2 years of experience in test automation.
• Experience with automation tools like TestComplete, Selenium, etc., is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Version Control Systems and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as VBScript and JavaScript.
• Programming experience and understanding of Software Quality Assurance practices.
• Experience working with databases like Oracle and SQL Server.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Self-motivated learner, detail-oriented, and adaptable.
• Ability to identify and isolate problems to determine root causes.
• Experience with infrastructure networks (electric, communication, water, gas) is a plus.
