Job summary

U.S. Bancorp India seeks a senior leader to drive reliability, scalability and operational excellence of core developer platforms. You will own day-to-day platform support, production readiness, and continuous improvement for AI-powered coding and developer productivity tooling.

This role will impact developer trust, productivity and adoption across the enterprise, requiring global leadership, agile delivery, and deep hands-on experience with enterprise-scale apps and observability (Datadog).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience.

Job Description

This role is a critical leadership position within the Developer Experience organization, responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of core developer platforms. The leader will own day-to-day platform support, production readiness, and continuous improvement for AI-powered coding and developer productivity platforms. Success in this role directly impacts developer trust, productivity, and adoption of DevEx platforms across the enterprise.

• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, with strong communication skills and a proven ability to lead globally distributed teams
• 7+ years of experience working in an Agile, product‑centric delivery model, partnering closely with product managers, platform teams, and engineering stakeholders
• 7+ years of hands‑on technical experience building and supporting enterprise‑scale applications and platforms
• Deep expertise in agentic coding capabilities and AI‑assisted development concepts, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Anthropic Claude (Code), OpenAI Codex/GPT, Cognition, Factory, MCP, or similar platforms
• Includes platform administration, operational ownership, and production support of these capabilities
• Experience managing incidents, availability, reliability, and adoption for developer tooling platforms
• Strong experience with observability and production support tools, with particular depth in Datadog (including monitoring, alerting, and incident response)
