Job summary

Optum India seeks a senior platform architect to lead enterprise AI-powered, cloud-native solutions across Azure and Kubernetes. You will drive architecture, design, and delivery with cross-functional teams in software, AI/ML, and cloud engineering.

Mentor engineers and shape technical direction while ensuring scalable, secure systems. You must have 10+ years of software engineering experience, deep Azure expertise, and a strong background in CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with architecture and leadership responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in Azure Public Cloud and Kubernetes.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems.

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into technology solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale AI-powered and cloud-native solutions
• Drive adoption of Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI/ML platforms, and automation capabilities across the organization
• Define technical strategy, architecture standards, and engineering best practices for scalable, secure, and resilient systems

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to translate strategic objectives into technology solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer science or similar field
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated architecture and technical leadership responsibilities
• Deep experience with Azure Public Cloud, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering solutions
• Solid expertise in AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG frameworks, and AI platform development
• Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, Spring Boot, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
• Proven ability to lead complex technical initiatives and influence architecture decisions across multiple teams
• Solid communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and mentoring skills
