Job Overview
Veradigm is seeking a Workday ERP/ Financials Functional Consultant with a proven track record in delivering enterprise-level Workday solutions to join our applications management IT team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Workday’s functional architecture, strong configuration skills, and the ability to configure, maintain and optimize Workday Implementation.
As part of the Workday IT team, you will be responsible for managing Workday ERP and Financial functions, financial reporting, system enhancements, and day‑to‑day user support.
Responsibilities
- Functions as the ERP financials administrator for modules such as Banking and Settlement, Business Assets, Supplier Accounts and Contracts, Expenses, Procurement, Projects and Tax, and Adaptive Planning.
- Lead the functional analysis, design, and configuration of Workday ERP modules to meet evolving business requirements.
- Work with the accounting teams to support requirements for monthly and quarterly close functions as well as audit requirements.
- Configure and manage security definitions and assignments, ensuring compliance with company requirements and policies.
- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and other business teams to support and develop effective solutions.
- Maintain documentation for system processes and configuration.
- Assess new functionality releases and coordinate testing and deployment with stakeholders.
- Monitor, respond to, and resolve request and incident tickets.
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to facilitate end‑to‑end solution delivery.
- Support data validation, test case creation, system testing, UAT, and production deployment.
- Monitor Workday releases and proactively assess impact on existing configurations, making recommendations and executing updates accordingly.
- Work hours are primarily aligned with US Eastern time zone (ET); work may also require coordination with employees in India and other time zones, including occasional off‑hours or weekends.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Workday Functional Consultant, including at least 2 full lifecycle Workday implementations.
- Proficient in Workday reporting, calculated fields, and condition rules.
- Workday certifications in ERP and Financials functional areas preferred.
- Ability to lead cross‑functional teams, mentor junior consultants, and manage functional workstreams independently.
- Strong oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to manage, track, and progress assigned tasks and work collaboratively with team members.
Mandatory Requirements
- Willing to work in the 2:30–11:30 PM IST shift or the late evening US shift (5 PM IST to 2 AM IST) as required.
