Job summary

Esyasoft Technologies Private Limited is seeking a skilled database developer to join the team in India. The candidate will work with the development group to design, implement, and optimize database models for core product development, focusing on MS SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and related tools.

The ideal person has 2+ years of experience, a BE/B.Tech/BSc/M.Tech/MCA/BCA background, and is ready to contribute to data analytics solutions while maintaining best practices and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must have a graduate degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of database development experience required.
• Proficient in MS SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Experience with SSIS/SSRS and data warehousing concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage database models for core product development.
• Write complex SQL views, tables, and stored procedures to support engineering efforts.
• Design and maintain SSIS packages, T-SQL scripts, and SQL jobs.
• Develop and maintain stored procedures for data loading into staging tables from OLTP systems.
• Document complex processes and specifications; ensure adherence to best practices.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible to work with development team to develop, implement, and manage data base models for core product development.
  
• Responsible to write SQL database views, tables, and stored procedures to support engineering product development.
  
• Responsible for designing and maintaining SSIS, T-SQL, and SQL jobs.
  
• Responsible for developing and maintaining complex stored procedures for loading data into staging tables from OLTP, and other intermediary systems.
  
• Responsible for analysis, design specifications, development, implementation, and maintenance of DB.
  
• Responsible for designing partitioning of DB for Archive data.
  
• Responsible to ensure that the best practices and standards established for the use of tools like SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Excel Power Pivot/View/Map are incorporated in Data Analytics solutions design.
  
• Responsible for documenting complex processes, business requirements and specifications.
  

Requirements

• Proficient in writing complex Transact SQL code.
  
• Proficient in MS SQL Server query tuning.
  
• Experience in writing stored procedures, functions, views and triggers.
  
• Experience in Indexes, column store index, SQL server column storage, Query execution plan.
  
• Provide authentication and authorizations for Database.
  
• Develop best practices for database design and development activities.
  
• Experience in database migration activities.
  
• Strong analytical, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
