Job summary

Sandisk is seeking a DevOps-focused Software Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. You will build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, and develop tools that speed up software delivery while improving reliability and security.

You will collaborate with developers, ops, and stakeholders to optimize deployments, monitor systems, and enforce best practices across cloud environments using AWS, Terraform, and container technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of DevOps experience with strong development background.
• Strong CI/CD experience using GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Git.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms (AWS) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• IaC experience with Terraform and Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in CI/CD and version control tools (GitHub, GitHubActions, git), cloud platforms (AWS), configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Programming and Scripting: Strong experience with programming and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Infrastructure as Code: Hands‑on experience with IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
• Process: Implement branching strategies and code review processes to enhance code quality and collaboration.
• Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk.
• System and networking: Familiarity with system administration tasks, including managing Linux and Windows servers, configuring network services, and ensuring system security and performance optimization.
• Problem‑Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps tools, or related technologies are a plus.
• Security Compliance: Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements.
