Job summary

Sign3 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build scalable, low-latency backend systems for fraud detection and customer intelligence. You will own significant parts of the architecture, drive technical decisions, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced, high-ownership team.

You will work on real-time risk analysis, large-scale data processing, and intelligent decisioning, collaborating across services and platforms to deliver reliable, scalable backend solutions.

Qualifications

• 4 to 7 years of backend software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java or Python and system design.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, performance tuning, and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, event-driven systems, and microservices.
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Experience with messaging and streaming systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with AWS or GCP and containerized deployments.
• Exposure to fraud detection, risk engines, or behavioral analytics platforms is a plus.
