Job summary

IRIS Software Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join our remote India team. You will own end-to-end software development across client and server components, mentor engineers, and drive on-time delivery for payroll and HR features.

The role requires strong expertise in C# .Net, cloud platforms, and CI/CD, with hands-on experience in integration and IaC tooling. You will collaborate with architecture, product, and support teams, uphold coding standards, and monitor production

Qualifications

• Hands on experience of integration systems.
• Hands on experience with developing build and deployment pipelines, such as ADO, GitHub Actions.
• Hands on experience with infrastructure as code, for example Bicep or Terraform.
• Hands on experience monitoring and resolving production issues.
• Proficient in at least 1 programming language such as C# .Net for desktop and cloud systems.
• Wide range of experience with and knowledge of cloud systems.
• Experience with IaaS and SaaS Cloud Architecture, such as Azure, Amazon web services.
• An ability to understand and translate product and business requirements into technical solutions rapidly and effectively.
• Logical and Analytical Mindset.
• Significant and demonstrable experience of scripting languages.
• Proven experience of project working and commercial development processes - particularly Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology programs, defining milestones and success criteria, resource allocation and successful on-time delivery.

• Full lifecycle responsibility from Requirements Analysis, through Software Design, Implementation, Test, and Integration.

• Technical ownership of payroll and HR features; ensure security, stability and efficiency of the platform.
• Develop tools and processes to improve software engineering productivity, including build pipelines and deployment mechanisms.
