FactSet is seeking a software engineer for the Mergers & Acquisitions Data Solutions Engineering team in Hyderabad, offering a hybrid work arrangement. You will contribute to building and maintaining data pipelines, tools, and systems that power M&A content for investment professionals worldwide.

In this role you will work with Python, Pandas, and AWS, participate in code reviews, and collaborate across agile teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science.
• 4-6 years of overall industry experience.
• 3-4 years of experience in Python.
• Strong experience and proficiency with Python, Pandas, and FastAPI.
• Strong experience with Javascript ES6+ , TypeScript ,Vue 3,Pinia and Css3
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong experience with API design and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with AWS cloud and CI / CD (Github Actions) , Redis and Pytest.
• Relational database experience, preferably with POSTGRES, MSSQL.
• Experience with Github-based development processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, self-directed, and resourceful with the ability to appropriately prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience building and deploying production-level services.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high-quality, reusable and maintainable code, perform Unit / Integration Testing of assigned tasks within the estimated timelines.
• Proactive in providing technical solutions with effective communication & collaboration skills.
• Perform Code Reviews and ensure best practices are followed.
• Work in an agile team environment and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth product delivery.
• Ownership of end-end product & Individual contribution.
• Performance Improvements with the help of metrics provided by automatic monitoring of the product.
• Ensure high stability of the product.
• Continuous Knowledge sharing internal & external of the team.
• Collaborate with other engineers and Product Developers in a Scrum Agile environment using Jira and Confluence Estimate task sizes and regularly communicate progress in daily standups and biweekly Scrum meetings.

What You'll Do

Desired Skills

• Work experience of Jupyter Notebooks.
• Infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Familiar with Agile software development (Scrum is a plus).
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
