Job summary

BEO Software Pvt Ltd is hiring a backend developer to build and own Python-based services, APIs, and data models from requirements to production. You will create RESTful APIs, manage PostgreSQL databases, and apply solid object-oriented design while embracing AI-assisted coding tools to improve speed and quality.

You will work independently, own deliverables, and adapt to new tools and practices, contributing across the full software lifecycle in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python with hands-on experience in Django / DRF, FastAPI, or a similar framework.
• Good knowledge of HTTP, REST APIs and client-server architecture.
• Hands-on SQL / PostgreSQL — schema design, data integrity and query optimisation.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools (preferably Claude Code) and prompt engineering.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and own deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Clear communication and a collaborative working style.
• Adapts quickly to new tools and technologies without being told to.
