Job summary

Staples India Business Innovation Hub Private Limited in Chennai is seeking a Senior Java Engineer with 4–8 years of hands-on experience to develop cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

You will design, build and optimize REST APIs and event-driven solutions, work with databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL and NoSQL, and collaborate with architects and DevOps to ensure reliability and scalable cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other transactional databases; NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra, Cosmos DB; and cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience with transactional databases, cloud platforms (Azure and/or GCP), event-driven architectures, and NoSQL databases.
