Job summary

Zenoti is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own end-to-end feature delivery for our cloud-based SaaS platform in the beauty and wellness domain. You will design and implement scalable systems using .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, with Flutter/React front-ends, and drive architectural decisions with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years designing and building enterprise SaaS apps using .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL Server/NoSQL, and Flutter/React.
• 3+ years building highly available, scalable cloud services (AWS or Azure).
• Strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem solving; own complex technical problems.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools in production (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
• Strong engineering judgment to review AI-generated code for security, performance, data integrity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable in a fast-paced product org.
• Experience building developer productivity tooling or AI-enabled engineering automation is a plus.
• Passion for learning emerging AI practices and applying them for value.

What will I be doing?

• Own the end-to-end development and technical success of significant features within a product module, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Design, build, and evolve scalable SaaS applications using .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and Flutter/React.
• Own delivery of significant features end-to-end, resolving technical ambiguity in your area without needing escalation; drive estimation and planning for your own work.
• Design components with clear interfaces, extensibility, and testability; make sound architectural decisions within your domain and lead technical design reviews for the features you own.
• Drive testing standards and coverage for the features you build; contribute to and help improve the team's test automation infrastructure.
• Own compliance adherence for your components — understand relevant regulatory and data governance requirements and ensure your code meets them; bring a security-first mindset to design, including threat modelling for the work you own.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and fellow Engineers to deliver customer-centric features in an agile environment; understand customer workflows deeply enough to challenge requirements and propose alternatives.
• Own production health for the components you build — monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and incident response for your area; know how your features are performing and being adopted in production.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) throughout the engineering lifecycle for design exploration, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review.
• Apply sound engineering judgment to determine where AI-generated output can be trusted and where human expertise is essential, particularly in areas involving security, data integrity, architecture, compliance, and customer-critical workflows.
• Write clear design documents and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What skills do I need?

• 5–7 years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale SaaS applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL Server/NoSQL) and modern UI frameworks such as Flutter or React.
• 3+ years of experience building highly available, scalable, distributed cloud services (AWS or Azure).
• Strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to own complex technical problems within your area.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in a production environment.
• Strong engineering judgment to critically review AI-generated code, especially in areas involving security, performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, continuously evolving product organization.
• Experience building developer productivity tooling, prompt libraries, reusable workflows, MCP servers, or AI-enabled engineering automation is a plus.
• Passion for continuously learning emerging AI-assisted engineering practices and applying those that create measurable customer and engineering value.
