Job summary

Trading Technologies in Ahmedabad (GiftCity) is seeking a backend engineer to maintain and optimize a multi-asset platform used for capital markets. The role involves enhancing a legacy backend, improving performance, memory efficiency, and building tools for automated testing; occasional frontend work is included.

The ideal candidate has strong C++17+ experience, Linux systems proficiency, and a solid grasp of multi-threading and low-latency networking.

Qualifications

• Substantial professional experience with C++17 or later.
• Proficiency with object-oriented design and development.
• Proficiency with Linux at a systems-level for developing real-time software (lock-free and wait-free design patterns).
• Understanding of multi-threading and memory ordering concepts.
• Understanding of low-latency network programming.
• Experience with C++ templates.
• Experience with Python for developing tools and automated testing.
• GDB coredump debugging experience.
• Experience utilizing AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Claude).
