Job summary

Scientific Games Technologies India Private Limited is seeking an experienced Java backend developer to build scalable enterprise applications using Spring Boot in Bengaluru. You will design RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrate with databases, messaging systems, and third-party services.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, SOLID Principles, Design Patterns.
• Experience with containerized application development and deployment.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and database design.
• Experience in query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.Experience working with Github and branching strategies.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Experience with unit testing and integration testing frameworks such as JUnit.
• Knowledge of API documentation standards such as Swagger.
• Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience consuming and integrating external APIs and services.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders.
• Experience reviewing code and guiding junior developers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka, or other messaging platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Graylog
• Experience implementing event-driven architectures.
• Exposure to reporting platforms such as JasperReports.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree in related field.
