Job summary

DigiCert is seeking a Senior Software Engineer-Backend to join our team in Bengaluru. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web services, collaborating with product, UX, and architecture teams to meet demanding requirements.

You will build robust backend systems using Java, relational and NoSQL databases, and modern containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, while embracing Agile practices and secure coding principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of professional experience in a software development role.
• Proficiency in programming languages - Java.
• Knowledge on tools like ffmppeg, OpenCV.
• Knowledge of both relational (MySQL, MariaDB) and NoSQL/non-relational (Cassandra) databases.
• Proficiency in containerization with Docker and expertise in container orchestration utilizing Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and address complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Application of secure coding practices and methodologies.
• A passion for unit testing and consistently delivering high-quality code.
• Prior C2PA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities
