Job summary

RX Global is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II in Chennai to design and deliver scalable, secure software across multiple services. You will own end-to-end delivery, convert ambiguous requirements into reliable systems, and contribute to engineering excellence within global, cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes working on complex, multi-tenant architectures, modern back-end stacks, and AI prompting familiarity to improve product capabilities and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building and delivering complex, globally available distributed multi-tenant systems
• Expertise in .NET/C# and at least one other modern backend stack (Java, Python or Node.js), plus front-end skills (JavaScript, React.Js, Flutter) and strong SQL/data skills
• Solid understanding of system design, Domain Driven Design, APIs, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and modern DevSecOps practices
• Strong testing discipline and focus on quality and operational excellence
• Ability to solve complex problems and make well-balanced technical trade-offs
• Confident communicator who can work effectively across cross-functional and global agile product delivery teams
• Exposure to AI Prompting and Agentic workflows

About the role:

The Senior Software Engineer II designs and delivers high-impact, scalable software solutions across multiple services. In this role, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end solution design and delivery-turning complex, ambiguous requirements into secure, resilient systems that drive real business and customer value. You’ll act as a subject-matter expert within your domain, contributing to engineering excellence, operational reliability, and team capability.

Requirements

• Typically 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong experience building and delivering complex, globally available distributed multi-tenant systems
