Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Identity Engineering to design and implement secure, scalable IAM solutions. The role focuses on Java-based microservices, REST APIs, and cloud-native architectures for large-scale identities and access management.

You will work across distributed systems, event-driven platforms, and DevSecOps practices, collaborating with security, product, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade software.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software development with strong backend focus.
• Hands-on in Java 17/21, Spring Boot and microservices.
• Experience delivering secure, cloud-native IAM solutions.
• Proficient in REST APIs, event-driven designs and distributed systems.
• Frontend exposure with ReactJS, TypeScript, JS, HTML5/CSS3.
• Knowledge of IAM platforms and OAuth2/OpenID Connect/SAML/JWT.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Identity Engineering team and build secure, scalable, cloud-native identity platforms. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-grade authentication, authorization, entitlement, and access management solutions that support millions of transactions.

This is a hands‑on engineering role offering the opportunity to work on modern microservices architectures, distributed systems, event‑driven platforms, and AI‑assisted software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based microservices for Identity & Access Management (IAM) platforms.
• Build secure authentication, authorization, entitlement, and customer access solutions.
• Develop scalable REST APIs and event‑driven services.
• Design and implement cloud‑native applications and distributed systems.
• Contribute to architectural design, technical reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Security, and Engineering teams.
