Job summary

Loyalty Partner Solutions GmbH is seeking an experienced software engineer to join its agile development team. You will contribute to coding, testing, and refining high-performance loyalty management software used across aviation, retail, and travel sectors.

Responsibilities include collaborating with product and engineering teams, writing clean code, defining APIs, and participating in sprint cycles. Strong knowledge of Java or Kotlin and CI/CD is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of experience; familiar with Agile or other rapid development methods.
• Experience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate.

• Develops and tests software, including ongoing refactoring and quality improvements.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
• Primary focus is spent writing code, API specs, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints or Proofs of Concept/automation tools.
• Act as a core member of an Agile team driving user story analysis, design and development of software applications.
• Identify opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develops and tests software, including ongoing refactoring of code & drives continuous improvement in code structure & quality.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience,
• Primary focus is spent writing code, API specs, conducting code reviews & testing in ongoing sprints or doing proof of concepts/automation tools.
• Functions as a core member of an Agile team driving User story analysis & elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing & builds automation tools.
• Works on a specific platform/product or as part of a dynamic resource pool assigned to projects based on demand and business priority.
• Identifies opportunities to adopt innovative technologies.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Postman will be advantageous.
• Working knowledge of CICD Tools
• Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback.
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.

• Should have experience in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of system applications.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and document technical and functional specifications and analyze software and system processing flows.
