Job summary

Esko, a Veralto company, seeks a highly capable Senior Software Engineer I to design, develop and maintain end-to-end full stack applications. You will collaborate with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable software, leveraging modern backend, frontend, and cloud technologies.

You will work with Python and/or C# (.NET Core), React.js, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred) while applying AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery and ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of full stack development experience.
• Strong programming in Python and/or C# (.NET Core / ASP.NET).
• Frontend expertise with React.js and web technologies (HTML5, CSS3).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud deployment (Azure preferred).
• Knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and CI/CD pipelines.

As a Senior Software Engineer I, you will help identify new product ideas and operating models, and then design, develop and deliver them. Working together with our operating companies, you will also help foster and support an entrepreneurial culture that will push Veralto to launch new software and data products better, and faster.

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Full Stack Developer with 4+ years of experience who is hands-on with modern backend, frontend, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, improve quality, and optimize delivery, while working closely with architects and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end full stack applications
• Build robust backend services using Python and/or C# (.NET)
• Develop responsive and scalable frontend applications using React
• Work with Cloud platforms (preferably Azure/AWS) for deployment and integration
• Leverage AI code assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) for:
• Code generation and optimization
• Reviewing and improving code qualityli>
• Accelerating development cycles
• Translate business requirements into technical designs and architecture-ready solutions
• Collaborate with solution architects for design validation and alignment
• Demonstrate developed solutions through effective walkthroughs and presentations
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and performance best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of full stack development experience
• Strong programming expertise in:
• Python and/or C# (.NET Core / ASP.NET)
• Solid frontend development experience with: React.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Experience working with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
• Strong understanding of database systems (SQL/NoSQL)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

AI & Development Mindset (Mandatory)

Proven ability to work hands-on with AI coding assistants

Capability to:

• Execute and validate AI-generated code & Test cases
• Critically review and refine AI suggestions
• Improve productivity using AI-driven development practices
