Job summary

Firstsource is seeking a hands-on GenAI Engineer to design, build, and deploy GenAI solutions across AI/ML systems, backend development, and cloud technologies.

You will collaborate with product and engineering teams to implement LLMs, RAG pipelines, embeddings, and prompts, with deployments on AWS and a focus on scalable, reliable services.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, debugging, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines while ensuring performance and system health.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of Software/AI backend experience.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Familiarity with LLMs, GenAI concepts, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Exposure to AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, SageMaker).
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases and Git.
