6+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering production software.
3+ years hands-on experience with TypeScript and modern React development.
3+ years backend experience with Node.js, API design, and integration.
1+ years mentoring and leading junior team members.
Experience using AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
Strong backend with Node.js and RDBMS.
Exposure to microservices, distributed systems, and containerization.
Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to stakeholders.
Remote collaboration capability; willingness for late-evening meetings IST.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
Build maintainable frontend experiences, backend services, APIs, and data models for member-record workflows.
Translate ambiguous product and workflow requirements into technical designs and incremental delivery plans.
Collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, Quality, and partner engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Improve reliability, performance, security, observability, and maintainability of production systems.
Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to testing strategies across the stack.
Participate in architecture and design reviews, code reviews, incident response, and operational improvements.
Identify technical debt and make pragmatic improvements.
Mentor engineers through technical guidance, reviews, pairing, and knowledge sharing.
Use modern developer and AI-assisted engineering tools responsibly to improve development quality and productivity.
Own meaningful product areas end to end, from discovery and technical design through implementation, launch, and operational support.

Requirements

Experience owning features from technical design through launch and ongoing production support
Strong understanding of testing, observability, performance, availability, and secure development practices
Ability to communicate technical decisions clearly to technical and non-technical partners
Collaborative, product-minded approach and ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment
Familiarity with AI-assisted software development or integrating AI capabilities into production workflows
