Job summary

Cisco Meraki is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the Mars team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, developing, validating, and automating scalable features for dashboard and API services that power Cisco Catalyst integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, Python, Golang, or Java with Spring Boot.
• Experience building scalable cloud applications and REST APIs.
• Strong React.js UI development experience.
• Experience with containerization, DevOps, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments.
• Experience in system design, code quality, and mentoring engineers.
• Exposure to LLMs and AI-assisted development.

Minimum Qualifications

• Strong React.js UI development experience, building modern, responsive, and scalable web applications.
• Experience with containerization, DevOps practices, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments.
• Experience in system design, code quality, and mentoring/guiding engineers on engineering best practices.
• Exposure to LLMs and AI-assisted development, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused software.

Preferred

• Exposure to or understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
