Job summary

Stryker in Gurugram, India seeks a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using C#, .NET 8+, Angular, and TypeScript. You will build microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven architectures for cloud-native solutions with Azure and AWS, including CI/CD and container deployments.

You will optimize SQL Server databases, support production releases, and apply secure coding practices (OWASP, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, SAST, DAST).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 4-8 years of experience developing applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8+, Angular, and TypeScript.
  • Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs, Microservices, Event-Driven Architectures, Distributed Systems, and applying Design Patterns and Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including stored procedures, database optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Experience building, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS, with a strong understanding of application scalability and reliability.
  • Strong knowledge of secure coding practices, SSDLC, authentication and authorization, application security, and demonstrated problem-solving, ownership, collaboration, and technical mentoring abilities.

  • Drive architecture reviews, code reviews, modernization initiatives, testing, and technical debt reduction.
  • Collaborate across R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Product Management, and DevOps teams while mentoring peers and promoting engineering excellence.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with event-driven and messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, Event Hub, AWS SNS, SQS, and EventBridge, along with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipeline development, Unit Testing, Integration Testing, automated quality practices, and software delivery lifecycle processes.
  • Hands-on experience with OWASP Top 10, DevSecOps, SAST, DAST, SonarQube, implementing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT-based authentication, and familiarity with SDLC, ALM, traceability, estimation, technical planning, regulated software environments, compliance requirements, and maintainability initiatives.
