Job summary

Stryker is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain Windows desktop applications in C#, .NET 8+, WPF with MVVM for healthcare solutions. You will build gRPC/REST services to connect devices, platforms, and cloud services and integrate enterprise messaging and hospital workflows.

You will collaborate with Product, QA, and Architecture teams in an Agile setting to deliver secure, scalable software with AI-enabled features such as OCR and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Software Engineering, or a related field with 4-7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core/.NET 8+, and WPF.
• Experience implementing MVVM, dependency injection, multithreading, and asynchronous programming patterns.
• Experience developing and consuming gRPC and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest).
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, SOLID principles, and software architecture.
• Experience troubleshooting and optimizing complex distributed or client-server applications.

• Experience developing or integrating AI/ML-powered analytics solutions, including conversational AI, intelligent workflow automation, predictive analytics, and enterprise analytics platforms.
• Hands-on experience with OCR and Intelligent Document Processing technologies for data extraction and workflow automation.
• Experience building hospital enterprise integrations using event-driven architectures, enterprise messaging, notification, alerting, and cross-system communication frameworks.
• Experience integrating with EMR/EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, Meditech) and implementing healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7, FHIR, and DICOM to support clinical workflow integration
