Job summary

Gartner is seeking well-rounded developers to join the Peer Insights Team in Gurgaon. You will help build a scalable, secure platform for Gartner Peer Platform sites, working with ReactJS, NodeJS, and TypeScript in an Agile environment.

You'll participate in design, testing, and implementation of features, with a focus on performance, security, and cross-browser compatibility. This role offers a hybrid work style and opportunities to advance in a leading tech-driven company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related engineering field.
• 4-6 years of experience developing customer-facing products or web applications.
• Expertise in ReactJS, NodeJS, and Typescript is a must.
• Expert skills in CSS, HTML, and design libraries.
• Experience consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of security best practices.
• Experience with Next.js and server-side rendering patterns.

Responsibilities

• Build and deliver products & applications integrating with various databases, AWS Services and REST APIs.
• Work with Open-source technologies and applications using NodeJS and ReactJS in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum environment.
• Follow coding standards, build appropriate unit tests, and integration tests
• Translate designs and style guides provided by the Design team into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance.
• Participates in the technical design process, expected to contribute own ideas for changes/new features; Capable of owning independent complex features all the way through from technical design to launch.
• Conducts system analysis, working closely with a Lead engineer, to improve operations.
