Job summary

Karta is seeking a frontend engineer who can translate evolving AI capabilities into intuitive product experiences, owning problems beyond ticket-level work. You will lead multi-sprint frontend initiatives from framing to rollout, ensuring scalable architecture and high performance.

Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI teams, building interfaces that handle AI-driven content, streaming data, and complex states while promoting engineering excellence through reviews and mentoring.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Angular.
• Solid understanding of browser behavior, HTML, CSS, networking, and frontend performance.
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or AI-driven UX.
• Experience with Microfrontends and Module Federation.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with shared design systems or large component libraries.
• Early-stage startup experience, building products from scratch.
• Familiarity with frontend observability (error tracking, performance monitoring, session replay).
• Experience working with backend and AI teams on API contracts and real-time workflows.
